26-April-2012,The Minister of Law & Justice has said that a policy decision for implementing the Acts passed by Parliament is taken by the concerned Ministries/ Departments. Giving this information in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today, Shri Salman Khurshid, said that the desirability or otherwise of framing of rules is also a policy decision to be taken by the concerned Ministries/ Departments. The Minister of Law & Justice further informed that for the purpose of ensuring timely framing of rules, steps are to be taken by the Administrative Ministries/ Departments only.
